Wednesday was the official 'lets clean up the house' day. An epic struggle ensued, and the pile of stuff we're throwing away (picture forthcoming) could swallow a small car. All this in order to attract the attention of a potential renter.
So why did the renter turn the room down? Any guesses?
His mother wouldn't let him sign the lease because the house has bad feng shui. Really.

I think I've heard everything now...don't know what is more disturbing the feng shui thing or the fact that the decision was made by his mother....someone needs to cut the cord.

ReplyDeleteIn his defense, he is Chinese. (but parental superstition is a really crappy defense for turning down a perfectly good room). A small amount of closet space and the next door neighbor who sometimes drunkenly sings The Doors at 1130 would have been much better reasons.
